For millennia women have gathered together in circle as a means of support and connection. Our lives are inseparable from the life of the earth, and our ancestors, both male and female, knew this. Soil and soul retreat is an opportunity to explore and remember our depths of connection to our greater body, the earth, and to the women we share this planet with. Through meditation, mindful movement and time outside in our extended nature, we will slow down, listen to our body pace and trace the thread of our essence back to who we are.

Sometimes we may feel drawn to be with a group of women, and we may also have feelings of anxiety and uncertainty about coming together in a women's gathering. This is common for so many women, and often goes unspoken and unacknowledged. The intention for the day is for it to be a safe, nurturing, resourcing circle where we can be ourselves, explore our experiences and be held by the practices and the Grace that is everywhere.

The day will unfold in the beautiful village of Wytham, in the village hall and surrounding land.

'And the Russian women in blue towns are speaking. The flower-dressed women of India... it is time to bless this ground... daughters, the women are speaking, they arrive over the wise distances, on perfect feet, daughters I love you.' Linda Hogan.
