This one day workshop is for counsellors interested in exploring what is involved in setting up a private counselling practice.

The workshop will:

  • Enable you to reflect on the practice of setting up a professional counselling business.
  • Enable you to fully understand the importance/necessity of business planning.
  • Explore the pros and cons of being in private practice.
  • Enable you to reflect on marketing, advertising strategies in relation to both your theoretical approach and professional, legal and ethical mindfulness.
  • Be underpinned by an integrative / flexible approach in order to respect the unique beliefs of those present from a variety of theoretical orientations.
