Looking to build confidence and improve relationships? Join us! From Thursday 18 April 2024, we are holding weekly group therapy sessions, held every week (0800-0930) in Brighton, for just £30 per session.

Why group therapy?

  • Personal development: Group therapy can help us increase self-esteem and confidence, reduce social anxiety/ anxiety/ depression/low mood and aid us in forming more rewarding relationships.
  • Motivation: Working in a group can boost motivation.
  • Emotional support: A group offers an in-built support network.
  • Diverse perspectives: You benefit from a variety of viewpoints and feedback.
  • Cost-effective: Group therapy is often more affordable than individual therapy.

What is group therapy?

  • Group therapy with Alison involves a group of 5 to 8 people.
  • Group therapy happens weekly for 90 minutes for approximately 40 weeks a year.
  • Group therapy can be a medium-term, long-term or open-ended commitment.
  • Group Therapy research shows that Group Therapy is as effective as Individual Therapy

How does group therapy work?

All of us who seek group therapy potentially have at least one thing in common – a desire to have more satisfying and fulfilling relationships with ourselves and with those around us. As we come to understand ourselves and our relationships with other group members, this benefits us and our relationships outside of the group and long after sessions finish.
