A Saturday morning workshop exploring how to manage grief holistically.

According to Ayurveda (a system of traditional Indian medicine) everything in the universe is made up of five basic elements. Drawing on Rina’s background in holistic, yogic and Ayurvedic medicine alongside Verity’s many years working therapeutically with clients, we will use these five elements as a framework to explore grief.

Whether as a result of a significant loss (like bereavement, redundancy or divorce) or as a natural part of our day to day life, we will all experience grief at some point. In our busy existence, we don't always get time to work through that grief or to take advantage of the transformation that can occur when we have the space to be with it.

The aim of this session is to give participants that time and space. As well as considering what grief is and some of the physical, mental, emotional and other ways it can manifest, there will be space for participants to explore their own grief and feelings, as well as learn practical tips, tools and suggestions for managing grief holistically.

* Please note that while the session will include time for sharing of thoughts and feelings which may be therapeutic, it is not to be considered as therapy or a counselling session. There will be signposting on to further support and resources which will be included as a handout to take away.*
