EU General Data Protection Regulation
This short workshop is about the recent EU General Data Protection Regulation Act and how it affects you as a counselling or psychotherapist in private practice. We will be looking at both electronic and paper filing systems and how to make sure they are GDPR compliant.
The GDPR aims primarily to give control back to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU. The new law is enforceable from 1st September 2018.

I provide counselling to adults, helping them to overcome anxiety & panic attacks and the shame attached to mental illness and empowering people to regain control of their lives. As well as running a private practice, I also run workshops about GDPR, Marketing and Shame. I was also part of a documentary about laughter yoga called The Best Medicine.
