Developing a relationship of trust
The therapeutic relationship has widely been acknowledged by research as one of the most important factors of personal growth and change. Trust is a fundamental component.
In conversation and through experiential exercises, we will think together about our own individual experience of trust.
This workshop will give you the opportunity to;
- consider how our capacity to trust develops
- explore how when trust is momentarily lost, we can find ways to think about and repair this in our therapeutic relationships and work
- discover how we can pay attention to the impact of our patterns of trust in our supervisory relationships
- explore how, out of these ruptures, new ways of relating become possible as trust develops
This experiential day will include a mix of teaching, stories, conversation, and exercises.
All tea and coffee, as well as a healthy lunch, is provided.
