For those who are trying to conceive and facing fertility issues, this course will equip you with therapeutic techniques and insights to help you cope with the emotional challenges of this difficult journey.

Trying to conceive when faced with fertility issues can be a long and emotionally painful journey, often causing considerable stress. This course will help equip you with insights from counselling theories to help you make sense of your emotional responses. You will be introduced to a range of therapeutic techniques which can help you manage the stress and emotional pain of infertility.

At each session, you will hear from someone who has gone through the infertility journey and has reached “the other side” - whether through finally having a child or through coming to terms with childlessness and finding another way to make life meaningful. The course will take place in a supportive group environment in which there will be opportunities to discuss relevant issues and learn from each other.
