Common ground: a practical day exploring working outside
About this event
'Common Ground' - a practical reflective day for therapists and practitioners to explore an embodied approach to working outside with clients in our broader nature.
This day is for practitioners already working outside with clients who want to cultivate a more embodied approach, and for practitioners who want to begin working outside in our broader nature with clients.
What will the day include?
During the day we will explore:
- grounding
- embodied presence
- relationship with place and people
- creating a safe therapeutic space
- ways of working outside
- reciprocal relationship and thresholds
The activities of the day will happen both inside the spacious village hall and outside as part of the living changing ecosystem of trees, birds, sky, insects, weather, soil, air, plants and animals.
The group is open to 10 practitioners and participants need to be able to walk on uneven ground and be outside in changeable weather conditions. We will respect safe distancing and follow COVID guidelines throughout the day.
You can book your place here.
