Fat shaming is very much all around us, sometimes masked as “tough love” or “motivation”. In this somewhat controversial workshop, we look at learning to truly love and accept ourselves for who we are and thereby helping others to do the same.

In this workshop we will look at and discuss:

  • Some of the influences and impact society has on us
  • Some “out of the ordinary” science
  • Real people’s stories
  • Some research results
  • And finally, we will look at ourselves.

This is an interactive day which will include both small and whole group discussions. Certificates will be given for six hours of CPD.

Date: Saturday 23rd March 2019

Time: 10am – 4pm (arrival/tea and coffee from 9.30am)

Location: Therapy Station, Teaching station, 1st Floor, 8 Salisbury House, Wheatfield Way, Hinckley, LE10 1YG
