About me

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or repetitive. You may notice the same patterns emerging in relationships, work, or your emotional life without fully understanding why. Therapy offers a confidential space to explore these experiences with curiosity, compassion, and without judgement.

As a psychodynamic therapist, I work collaboratively with adults to understand how past experiences, unconscious patterns, and current relationships shape the way we feel, think, and relate to ourselves and others. Developing greater insight can create the opportunity for lasting emotional change rather than simply managing symptoms.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loss, low self-esteem, trauma, or a general sense that something isn't quite right, therapy can help you make sense of your experiences and move towards a more fulfilling way of living.

I offer a consistent, confidential, and supportive space where you can speak openly about whatever feels important.
Sessions are led by your experiences and concerns. Over time, we may explore:

  • Recurring relationship patterns
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma and difficult life experiences
  • Self-esteem and identity
  • Family dynamics
  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Life transitions
  • Work-related stress
  • Feelings that may be difficult to put into words

Training, qualifications & experience

About me
I am a qualified Psychodynamic Therapist and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I hold a BA (Hons) degree and have professional training in psychodynamic therapy, supporting clients to explore underlying emotional patterns, relationships and experiences that may be affecting their wellbeing.

I am committed to providing a safe space for clients to be heard.

I aim to help you explore your experiences at a pace that feels manageable, creating space for reflection, understanding, and personal growth.
My practice is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and professionalism.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

Psychodynamic therapy is based on the understanding that our past experiences and relationships continue to influence our present lives, often outside our conscious awareness.
Together we explore recurring emotional patterns, relationships, thoughts, and feelings. By becoming more aware of these patterns, it becomes possible to respond differently and develop greater freedom, resilience, and self-understanding.
Therapy is not about assigning blame for the past. It is about understanding how your experiences have shaped you and discovering new possibilities for the future.
