About me
Is anxiety, depression, or stress affecting how you show up in the world?
I have a special interest in supporting people to explore and heal emotional wounds that may be causing anxiety or depression; influencing relationships, self esteem, and overall wellbeing.
Please feel free to have a look at my website for more information.
How I Can Help
I can help you explore causes, and find practical solutions and coping strategies that work for you, when you are feeling stuck or finding things tough. I also provide psycho education to help you gain an understanding of what anxiety, depression, and stress are, and how they show up in thoughts, bodies, and behaviours.
I provide a space for you to process past experiences, recognise unhelpful patterns, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. This can help you to rebuild a sense of self worth and authenticity.
How I work
My integrative approach means that I can draw on different therapeutic models to work with you as an individual. I can work with you to help piece things together when things feel overwhelming or you feel stuck.
I aim to create a space where you feel heard and understood, where we work at your pace and I follow your lead, asking you questions to help gain deeper understanding.
Getting started.
It can feel like a big step reaching out to a counsellor for the first time, but it can be life changing.
After making contact with me, I'll offer you an appointment and book your first session, during which I will complete an initial assessment with you.
During the initial assessment I will be filling out a short form, and we'll discuss your reason for seeking counselling. It's also your opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
