About me
CBT Therapist for Adults, Young People & Families
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you've tried everything?
I'm Yvonne, a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist with over 10 years' experience, and I offer therapy that's practical, human, and tailored to you. As someone with lived experience of ADHD myself, I understand what it feels like when life doesn't come with an easy-to-follow manual and that shapes everything about how I work.
I work with children from age 7, teenagers, adults, and couples. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, OCD, trauma, or the challenges that come with being neurodivergent, I'll meet you where you are and work with you at your pace.
I also offer ADHD coaching for children, young people, and adults, practical, forward-focused support for understanding your brain and building strategies that actually stick.
For couples, I offer CBT-informed couples work, helping partners understand the patterns that keep them stuck and find more helpful ways of communicating and connecting.
CBT is at the heart of everything I do. I draw on ACT, DBT, and CFT where it fits, and I offer ERP for OCD and parent-led CBT for younger children.
Sessions are available in person in Marple and online across the UK.

BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. Further information
I know seeking therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. My aim is to make the process feel safe, approachable, and collaborative. Clients describe my style as warm, down-to-earth, and practical. I balance compassion with clear, evidence-based strategies so you leave sessions with tools you can actually use in everyday life.
I offer both in-person therapy in Marple, Stockport, and online sessions nationwide, giving you flexibility to fit therapy around your life. Evening appointments are sometimes available.
As someone with lived experience of ADHD, I understand how neurodivergence can shape daily challenges and I bring this understanding into my therapy, ensuring sessions are inclusive and affirming.
Whether you are a child, young person, adult, or parent, I will meet you where you are, and work with you at your pace to create lasting change.
