About me
Hi there,
I'm Yasser and I'm a BACP qualified Coach-Therapist.
That means I'm here to help:
- Whether you're looking for profound insights, effective coping strategies, or deep personal-awareness and healing, from counselling. I’m here for you.
- If you're aiming for a rich and thriving personal, professional, or creative transformation through coaching, let's make it happen together.
- Or, if you want to combine the best of both worlds, moving from deep personal-awareness to enhanced purpose, meaning, life-transformation, and self-actualisation through Personal Consulting, we can do this together.
I can’t do the work for you, but I’ll be with you every step of the way: providing direction, insights, constructive challenge, and self-empowerment to achieve your goals, discover meaning, purpose, and fulfilment.
A Bit About Me:
I’m a BACP certified counsellor and coach, which means I’m a trained and fully qualified coach-therapist. I combine the best of both worlds: I won’t just listen—I’ll ask questions and provide constructive challenge, empathic support, and strategies and methods to work with you to achieve your goals.
Whether it’s coping through difficult times and making sense of the past or present, or cultivating a rich, meaningful, and purposeful future, my experience and training are here to help you find insights, design a way forward, and craft the life you want.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

My Approach is Holistic and Dynamic:
I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person is different, and their life experiences are different. What you might want to get out of your sessions is different too. So I draw on multiple approaches to craft sessions that are specifically tailored for you.
- Integrative Counselling: I am trained in multiple counselling approaches and integrate them, where relevant, to your specific objectives.
- Coaching & Personal Consulting: I am also a qualified coach and can combine this with counselling to provide, not just understanding, but work with you to achieve life transformation and personal goals too.
- Philosophical Background: I have a degree in philosophy, which enriches my practice with critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and logical problem-solving skills. I also draw on Stoic and Existentialist philosophies to explore meaning, detached mindfulness, and emotional resilience in sessions.
- Project Management Expertise: With nearly 15 years of experience as a project manager at a Big Four management consultancy firm, I bring strategic planning, personal change management, and goal attainment techniques into our work together.
- Eastern Thought & Wisdom: Having practised and taught Martial Arts at a high level for nearly 25 years, I often draw on Eastern thought and wisdom, including mindfulness and present-awareness practices, Mushin, Kaizen, Wu Wei, and Wabi Sabi.
