About me

Hello, I'm Wendy and I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor with a wide range of experience from working with children to counselling in the NHS. Are you in mental distress, anxious, depressed or just not coping? Whether you are clear about the causes or not, I can help. In our fast moving busy lives, events can leave us overwhelmed at times which impacts negatively on our mental wellbeing. Maybe this is compounded by big life events such as bereavement, job loss, divorce and so on, or maybe adverse events from your past loom heavily over your present & effect your hopes for the future. If so, you need effective counselling!

Whatever the issue, I offer precision counselling showing complete acceptance, understanding & empathy delivered in a caring, non-judgemental, secure, confidential environment. As well as those mentioned above, I've experience treating issues such as low self-esteem, suicide ideation, childhood sexual & domestic abuse, self-harm, relationship issues & more.

I follow a person-centred/integrated approach, bespoke to the client's needs because one size definitely does not fit all! Finding the right counsellor for you as an individual is vital to success. Therefore, I offer a free initial consultation, after which you can decide if we should embark, together, on a therapeutic journey towards your goals
