About me
At the heart of my work is a commitment to relational, creative, and socially conscious therapy. We will focus on creating a non-judgemental and compassionate space for your emotional exploration. One that honors your unique story and identity.
Grounded in an integrative approach we will draw from a wide range of psychotherapy theories and practices to gain a deeper understanding of what’s going on in your life. This includes paying attention to the connection between your body and mind and how your feelings and experiences might show up physically as well as emotionally.
Whether you're navigating a specific issue or seeking deeper personal growth our work will focus on increasing self-awareness, emotional resilience and meaningful change. This might mean understanding yourself more deeply, processing painful emotions, learning to set boundaries or moving away from survival patterns like people-pleasing / perfectionism. You may simply be longing for rest or a space to be heard without judgement.
However you come, you are so welcome.
My practice is grounded in the following values:
Relationality & Honesty
My work is relational supporting you to build confidence in your communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on deepening your relationship with yourself and others.
Anti-Oppressive, Trauma-Informed Practice
Our mental health does not exist in a vacuum. I’m deeply committed to anti-oppressive, decolonial and trauma-informed practices that recognise how systemic forces such as capitalism, racism, sexism, ableism and transphobia shape our wellbeing. This means:
-Acknowledging the broader contexts that affect your mental health
-Exploring internalised beliefs shaped by these systems
-Supporting new ways of being beyond survival mode, pressure, or perfectionism
Inclusivity & Cultural Humility
I am committed to offering neuro-inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming, trans-expansive and non-ableist care. Together we name what harms and make room for resistance, care and restoration. However you come, you are welcome here.
Creativity & Expression
We will invite imagination and playfulness into the process of healing while always centering your unique experience and needs. Sometimes words aren’t enough and we might use creative practices such as movement, sound, visual arts, breath, and stillness. This may include exploring embodiment practices that support healing from trauma.
Empowerment & Intuition
Your lived experience and inner wisdom matters. We will foster your empowerment outside of the sessions by building confidence, deepening self-trust, and accessing personal and ancestral resources.
Community & Collective Care
Trauma can be both deeply personal and embedded in social and communal ecosystems. We will explore your connection to community, shared experience and the power of being part of something larger than ourselves.
Training, qualifications & experience
You may not know exactly what you’re looking for yet, and that’s ok. Therapy doesn’t require you to have the answers before you begin. What matters is that something doesn’t feel quite right and you’re curious about how things could be different.
Maybe you're feeling:
- Overwhelmed by anxiety, depression or burnout
- Struggling with anger, shame, guilt or feelings of isolation
- Carrying grief from bereavement, pregnancy loss or reproductive health challenges
- Disconnected from yourself, your purpose and the people around you
- Battling self-harm, suicidal thoughts or emotional exhaustion
- Struggling with addiction or difficult patterns of behavior
- Difficulty trusting others and forming sustainable relationships. Perhaps due to past manipulation, coercion or emotional abuse
- Alone in navigating the emotional toll of living in a society that often ignores care, complexity and rest
- Disconnected from your body, unsure how to listen to its signals or feel at home in it
- Wrestling with self-image, body image, or body dysphoria
- Longing to explore embodiment practices that support healing from trauma
Whether you’re longing for rest or connection this can be a space to slow down & explore what healing might look like for you. In a way that honours your lived experience, identity and the systems you move through.
Client Groups & Focus Areas
I work with individuals facing a wide range of struggles and take a holistic, anti-oppressive approach to support them. Some of the wonderful people I work with have endured:
- Addiction, shame, bereavement, grief, self-harm and suicidal thoughts
- Relational difficulties, including struggles with manipulation, emotional abuse, domestic violence, or sexual violence
- Women’s health issues - around reproductive justice and health, pregnancy loss including disenfranchised grief related to abortion, fertility issues and the emotional complexities of living in a society that often silences women’s voices and experiences.
- Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) needs. I offer trans-expansive care and gender-affirming support for those navigating gender identity, expression or sexual orientation exploration
- Discrimination, particularly in relation to cultural, racial, gender, sexuality, or disability struggles and supporting clients in healing from the emotional toll of living in a system that marginalizes or overlooks their needs
- Mental health conditions, such as chronic depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, body dysmorphia and borderline personality disorder

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Community Work & Collective Healing
Alongside 1-1 therapy, I work with charities and community organisations offering advocacy, emotional support and group-based work.
These include: Mind, Mental Health Works Ltd, Addiction Family Support, Hestia and Likewise.
I care deeply about increasing access to therapeutic and supportive spaces, especially for those historically and systemically excluded from mental health services. Community-based, collective healing is central to my practice which is rooted in relationships, shared knowledge and care that extends beyond the therapy room.
I’m always open to conversations about this kind of work so feel free to reach out if you'd like to connect.
