About me
Hello and welcome. I'm glad you are here and have found my page.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, with a particular focus on neurodiversity, complex trauma, attachment-related issues, and patterns that affect how we relate to ourselves and others.
This often includes difficulties with low self-worth, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, and feeling stuck in repeating relationship patterns. I also support those who identify as highly sensitive, or who feel deeply affected by stress, anxiety, or burnout.
Alongside this, I work with anxiety, depression, and emotional distress, as well as the impact of difficult or painful life experiences such as loss, bereavement, or trauma. This can also include experiences of abuse, family difficulties, or relational breakdowns. I also offer walk and talk therapy. This encompasses the healing aspect of being in nature.
I have an interest in supporting people who are exploring their identity, navigating life transitions, or trying to make sense of long standing emotional patterns that are hard to shift alone.
I have experience supporting people in 12-step recovery and work mainly with adults in my preactice but I do have some space for young people aged +16.
I also worked with clients at a local branch of the Mental Health Charity Mind, and have experience of working with people from all different walks of life.
I offer both short-term (6–12 sessions) and longer-term open-ended therapy, depending on what feels right for you. Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly, either online or in-person in Barnet.
I also offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so you can ask any questions and get a sense of whether I feel like the right fit for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
