About me
Hello. I’m an experienced, warm and engaging therapist. I meet clients where they are in life and support all kinds of people to explore, heal and grow. I move at a pace that’s most beneficial for each person and form rich working collaborations so clients can get the most from the sessions.
I work holistically, with the way people think and narrate their own lives, and also with the body which is where many of our emotional experiences are stored and processed. In appropriate ways for each individual I guide clients to find experiences of safety on a bodily level and use this as a foundation for deeper transformation. I also think creativity and imagination are great human potentials that we all possess in some way, so amongst other ways of working I create opportunities for clients to work with dreams and visualisations.
I enjoy working in the same room with clients. I also very much appreciate the freedoms and differences of working online and on the phone. I often do a mixture with the same clients because changing contexts of working can open up unexpected possibilities.
I work with individuals (16+), with couples and people in other relationships. I work in central Brighton + Online Thursday to Saturday.
Training, qualifications & experience
I'm a Spectrum-trained psychotherapist with over twelve years experience in private practice. My training covers a broad area including Gestalt Therapy, Formative Psychology, working with couples and groups. I am always learning and engaging in continued professional (and personal) development.
I previously worked as a creative director, leading creative teams and carrying ideas through long processes from conception to expression.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
