About me

I am a fully qualified and accredited integrative therapist, experienced in working with both couples and individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I believe we all hold the potential to live as our best selves: content, and at peace. The key to this lies in understanding ourselves more deeply.

Some clients come to me in the midst of crisis, seeking immediate support, while others may be generally content but want guidance in moving forward with their lives. A central part of therapy often involves exploring how past experiences have shaped the person you are today, and how that awareness can help you create meaningful change.

In my work with couples, I often see partners who have slipped into unhelpful habits and want support in rebuilding a healthy, thriving relationship. Many couples wait until things feel close to breaking point before seeking help, which can place enormous strain on the partnership. Having someone offer perspective and facilitate a reset can be a powerful step toward restoring connection.

My ethos is simple: every client is unique. As an integrative therapist, I adapt our therapeutic journey to meet your needs in the way that serves you best.

I also offer free, in-person assessments for individuals. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions about starting therapy, and to see whether working together feels like the right fit.

I have an executive assistant, Lisa, who oversees all bookings. She can be contacted on info@ourtherapy.co.uk or on 07780868824.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
