About me
About Me
I am a level 4 qualified integrative counsellor, trained in a range of therapeutic approaches. Being integrative means I work in many different ways and adapt my style to meet your individual needs, rather than relying on a fixed method. My aim is to offer a safe, calm, and non-judgemental space where you feel truly heard and supported.
My Counselling Approach
Counselling with me is a collaborative process. We work together to build a trusting, authentic relationship, which becomes the foundation for meaningful change. Whether you’re aiming to achieve a particular goal or seeking greater mental clarity around issues you’ve been struggling with, I will support you at your own pace.
I draw from several therapeutic models, such as person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural influences, so I can tailor our work to what feels most helpful for you.
The Support I Offer
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, low mood, stress, low self-esteem, bereavement, relationship issues, and life transitions. My approach is empathetic, respectful, and focused on helping you understand yourself more deeply while developing healthier ways of coping.
Life Coaching
Alongside counselling, I also offer life coaching. My extensive experience across different industries, including counselling and the fitness sector, enables me to support clients in setting goals, finding motivation, and creating practical plans for personal growth. Coaching can be combined with counselling or offered as a standalone service, depending on what suits you best.
Training, qualifications & experience
Hold all levels of counselling training up to and including Level 4. I have several years experience in both coaching and counselling. I offer both counselling and coaching in person and online, giving clients the flexibility to choose what suits their lifestyle and comfort best.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
