About me
Welcome. I appreciate how many profiles there are out there, so thank you for taking the time to read mine.
As a qualified and registered counsellor, I see clients with a wide range of presenting issues.
I specialise in working with anxiety, panic disorder, depression and low self-esteem or self-worth.
About me
I'm an Integrative Counsellor which means I will use techniques and tools from a range of different approaches to suit you and your individual needs.
Some clients come to me knowing what it is they want to discuss – many are not yet sure of the root cause – they come with the symptoms and issues that are affecting their daily lives and relationships and the knowledge that something has to change.
I place high importance on human connection and the therapeutic relationship. I believe everyone deserves to be truly heard and seen, to feel so safe, supported and accepted that they can be their true self.
When we feel wholeheartedly accepted, we feel safe enough to allow our vulnerabilities to be seen. This is when the healing truly begins.
My Therapy Style
My style is relational which means I see counselling as a collaboration between us. Your sessions are about you - you are the expert. I'm keen to get to know you, to understand things from your perspective.
I won’t advise or tell you what to do... I will use my experience and training to create an environment of trust, safety and acceptance.
As I gently guide and support, we can explore your thoughts and feelings together, challenging and discovering solutions or new perspectives.
How I Work
I am relaxed and intuitive and throughout our work will remain focused on you and your needs. I work with your past, present and future and will support you as we move at your pace.
My aim is to support you to identify, name and really feel the feelings - helping you to connect with your felt sense.
I often incorporate somatic interventions such as body-scans, breathwork or meditation, as a way of introducing self-regulation and resources that may be helpful to you outside of therapy.
Whatever it is you need to bring to our counselling sessions, I will meet you with compassion, care and no judgement whatsoever.
We can lean in and work together – gently empowering you to navigate your way from where you currently are, to where you would like to be.

Getting Started
I offer an introductory, informal conversation, online or by phone. This will last up to 30 minutes and there is no cost for this - this is a chance for us to connect, allow you the opportunity to share a bit about yourself and what you would like support with, and for me to share how I work.
There is no obligation or expectation.
If you decide you would like us to work together, we will then arrange a set day and time to suit us both.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
