About me
Making the decision to engage in therapy can be daunting. However it is the first step in helping you gain a better understanding of yourself, and creating a better relationship with yourself. It is easy to put self-care and our own needs second in our busy lives. Therapy is about self-care, whether you want to develop a deeper awareness of yourself, improve relationships, learn coping skills to manage stress, low mood or anxiety or be more confident, taking the first step is always the most difficult. My personal philosophy is to work collaboratively with you, listening to what you want and identify goals that are important to you.
I am a Counselling Psychologist and have over 10 years experience of working within the NHS, charity organisations and private sector. I work with young people, adults, individuals and couples. My expertise includes: stress, low mood, anxiety disorders, life transitions, bereavement, anger management, relationship problems, traumatic experiences, addictions and low self-esteem.
I work with individuals short-term and long-term depending on your need. I offer online video and telephone sessions, which makes accessing therapy more flexible and accessible. I provide a free 15-minute telephone consultation prior to starting therapy, to discuss your difficulties and think about goals. If you are ready to take the next step in investing in yourself please contact me via email or phone. We can explore together what type of therapy will be beneficial, therefore tailoring therapy to best suit your needs and I can answer any concerns or questions you may have.
