About me

OPEN Sundays

Saver Bundles | Free Consultation

COVID-19 update:

We are now fully OPEN (with secure, risk assessed procedures) for In Person and all other services - Simple!

Hello, I’m Stuart

I'm a Counsellor and Founder of iRelation & iRelation.life - a local, online & social resource for Counselling, Therapy & Inspirations. I offer Flexible Services and Value Focused Saver Bundles!

I'm proudly local in Newquay, Cornwall - with a homely, welcoming & disabled access space, close to the Town, Trains/Buses and, of course, beaches! If the weather suits us, and you want to try it, we can also go Walking & Talking.

About me

I’m 39, divorced and a Father of two. I've certainly had moments of highs and real lows - I've experienced trauma, battled mental health, been in love, suffered heartbreak and caused pain myself. I live with an anxious mind and have experienced it's restrictive and awakening power.

I’m a real person, with a real story.

My approach has Person Centered Therapy at it's core - I believe that we all hold the key to our own potential, but sometimes we need a helping hand and support in unlocking it - That's where I can come in!

I believe that through the power of a Genuine and Trusting, Therapeutic Relationship, we are all able to discover our truth - once we do, we are enabled and can begin to grow and change.

We all need someone to hear us, and I'm ready to hear you.

Do you experience anxiety, social anxiety or maybe have generalised anxiety disorder? Are you having problems in your relationships or having trouble making decisions? Have you found stress or burden lately? Do you feel overwhelmed, struggled with depression or have thoughts of suicide or feeling sad?

I welcome you to try a Free Consultation - In Person, via the Phone, or Messaging & See how you can get real value with my *Saver Bundles* (listed below).

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a registered MBACP Counsellor & Therapist - which means you get the peace of mind of having a qualified and checked Practitioner - one that will be regularly Supervised and whom has a duty to continue development, experience and knowledge throughout registration.

I am Qualified as a Person Centred Counsellor & Therapist (Somewhere in you, you know your own truth and can discover it with a little help from me), with a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) recognised Diploma.

I also have experience working with suicide crisis, and have a recognised training and qualification, ASIST.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
