About me
Why You Are Here
How settled we feel in our relationships reflects how safe we feel in our lives. Ruptures with those we love the most can leave us feeling shaken and confused. We feel at our most lonely and disconnected when with someone we feel unable to understand, or who isn't able to understand us. Problems in our relationship can impact every part of our lives including work, family, friendships, and many other broader issues, and can seriously impact our wellbeing.
The Sessions
Our sessions will focus on your relationship. Together we will develop key skills to bring understanding, communication and connection, and to lessen anxiety and confusion. Our work covers all areas, such as
- Communication
- Impact of infidelity
- Intimacy
- Differences in understanding
- Love languages and attachment styles
- Tools for reconnection
About Me
I am a BACP Registered Counsellor and COSRT trained Couples Counsellor and Psychosexual Counsellor. I work with a multitude of clients but mostly focus on relationship work and have training very specific to this. I qualified as a counsellor in 2020 and a couples counsellor in 2021.
I am also a qualified yoga teacher with experience teaching mindfulness and meditation practices.
Where I Work
I work with couples from my counselling space in Tunbridge Wells. I provide a purpose built space that is both peaceful and confidential. There is plenty of free parking and the space is easily accessible from Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, and surrounding areas. I also offer online work, and am trained in working with couples in this way.
Why Couples Counselling Differs From Individual Work
Rather than the individual being the client, we are working for the benefit of the relationship, and that becomes the focus. Also, the dynamic of working with multiple people in the room creates a very different balance which needs experience and training to understand. I am experienced at working in this way and am more able to focus on this work as a result. I have experience of working with a wide range of couples from those simply looking to improve their day to day to separated couples trying to understand what their future looks like. In our work, the relationship is the client.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an integrative couples counsellor focusing on psychosocial and psychosexual development and a COSRT certified couples and psychosexual counsellor. I am also a qualified yoga teacher.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
