About me
Do you find yourself repeating destructive patterns, struggling with a harsh inner critic, or feeling overwhelmed by persistent anxiety, depression, and self-doubt?
First, take a moment to acknowledge where you are right now. Reaching out and taking this first step toward therapy takes genuine courage, especially when you are already feeling exhausted or unsure of what lies ahead.
Mental health concerns rarely exist in a vacuum. Emotional distress—whether it presents as chronic worry, low mood, low self-worth, or the exhausting feeling of a nervous system stuck in survival mode—is often an adaptive response to deeper, unhealed emotional pain. When we are forced to adapt, hide, or carry heavy burdens, our minds and bodies develop protective mechanisms to help us survive. Real healing begins when we stop treating these struggles as isolated symptoms and start looking at the whole picture with compassion and curiosity.
As an integrative therapist, I combine Person-Centred warmth with Psychodynamic depth to create a safe, non-judgmental space for your journey. Through Person-Centred warmth, we focus on your present experience, offering unconditional acceptance, empathy, and practical grounding tools to help stabilize your daily life and build resilience. At the same time, Psychodynamic depth allows us to gently explore early relational patterns and "out-of-awareness" feelings, bringing light to the subconscious drivers that keep old defense mechanisms active.
This integrative approach directly shapes my core clinical specialism in Addiction & Recovery Therapy. Addiction is seldom just about the substance or behavior itself—it is frequently an attempt to soothe unmet psychological needs, isolation, or past trauma. By bridging Person-Centred safety with Psychodynamic insight—and drawing on a full literacy in 12-Step recovery principles and fellowship culture—we address the true drivers behind addictive cycles. Together, we move beyond surface-level coping to heal core emotional wounds, break free from self-defeating patterns, and build a grounded, sober life anchored in genuine self-compassion

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
