About me

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected or caught in patterns that no longer serve you? You may be struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, fertility challenges, disordered eating, questions around identity, or perhaps life feels harder than it should. I offer a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space to explore what is happening beneath the surface. I find too much jargon or mystery around therapy unhelpful, so I aim to be clear, compassionate and engaged throughout the process. Alongside careful listening, I offer observations, questions and perspectives to deepen understanding and open up new possibilities.

My aim is not simply to provide space to talk, but to help you make sense of your experiences and navigate challenges with more awareness and choice. Starting therapy can feel daunting, so I offer a confidential, respectful and tailored approach. I recognise that life isn't always predictable and aim to work in ways that feel both consistent and manageable.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Master's in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy and have undertaken additional professional training in areas including anxiety, OCD, trauma, perfectionism, disordered eating, neurodiversity and reproductive struggles. Where helpful, we may also explore the connection between mind and body, and ways of feeling more grounded when under stress.

My integrative training means I can draw from many modalities to help understand my clients’ unique patterns of thinking and the ways in which we relate to ourselves and others.

I believe our minds and bodies are deeply connected so if it feels useful, part of our work could consider how what we feel emotionally relates to what we feel physically.

I work collaboratively so you won’t be interrogated or put under pressure and there won’t be anything ‘done to you.’ The work is led by you and our goal is always to help you come to a deeper understanding of yourself.

As well as offering psychotherapy in Salisbury, I have worked for the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC) Low Cost Service, providing short to medium term counselling for adults facing a wide range of difficulties.

I have successfully helped clients who have experienced:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Trauma
  • Eating Disorders and Body image issues
  • Fertility struggles
  • Lack of motivation or direction
  • Finding life too difficult to manage
  • Substance abuse and other dependices
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Sexual abuse

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

I work with people experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, the impact of trauma or difficult life experiences and those exploring identity. Together we explore not only the symptoms that bring you to therapy, but also the patterns, relationships and experiences that may sit beneath them. The aim is greater self-understanding, an increased capacity to cope, and meaningful, lasting change.

I work from a humanistic and integrative perspective, tailoring therapy to your individual needs rather than following a fixed formula. Together we may explore how past experiences continue to influence your present life, whilst also focusing on the challenges you face here and now. Where helpful, we may consider the connection between emotions, physical sensations and nervous system responses.
