About me

Hi my name is Simone, I am a Person-centred Therapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I provide In-person therapy from my counselling room in Harlow and I offer online services through secure and encrypted online platforms.

We all have life struggles at times and for many having someone to hold a safe space and walk with them through that journey can be the key. My approach to counselling is deeply rooted in the belief that every person possesses the inherent ability to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals, given the right support and understanding.

I emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I aim to create a safe and supportive space to share your thoughts and emotions and talk through your concerns, whatever they may be. One of my core values is trust and I see it as a vital part of the therapeutic process and any relationship.

Ultimately, my mission as a person-centred therapist is to empower you to reconnect with you true selves and to achieve your fullest potential to be able to explore your life in a new way.

Your Journey Begins Here.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
