About me
Perhaps you are struggling with depression and anxiety, or you are grieving a loss; perhaps you're uncertain about the future of a relationship, or perhaps you simply don't feel like you're living the life you were meant to live. Whatever your needs are, I am here to help.
In my practice, I work integratively and employ a variety of theoretical approaches, such as the Psychodynamic approach, Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Approach, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and that the therapeutic relationship is essential to achieving a positive therapeutic outcome. In my view, everyone perceives the world differently, and there is no "one size fits all" approach. As a result, our therapeutic work becomes highly personalised, tailored to you and your unique needs. Therapy is a self-discovery and growth process that encourages transformation by exploring the past and encouraging a positive outlook, as well as the adoption of new attitudes and responses.
Training, qualifications & experience
Qualifications:
- ProfDoc candidate (Middlesex University)
- PostGraduate Certificate Systemic Family Therapy ( King’s College London)
- MSc in Psychology (University of East London)
- BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counseling (University of East London)
Membership: British Association of Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP); British Psychological Society (BPS); Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (ATF).
I work with individuals, couples, and families.
As an integrative therapist, I specialise in trauma work, including historical childhood abuse, anxiety, and depression. I also work with attachment and relationship issues, sexual issues, stress, bereavement, and multiple losses; self-esteem issues; workplace bullying; cultural and spiritual issues; significant life-changing events like divorce or redundancy; and adjustment problems related to a health issue or identity crisis. I have been trained in a number of theoretical approaches, including psychodynamic, person-centred, systemic family therapy, existential, brief solution-focused therapy, and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). My philosophy is that each client's experience of the world is unique, and I am committed to providing the best care possible for each of my clients. As a result, I draw dynamically from different modalities, and each session is individually tailored to your specific needs. I have worked in NHS Lambeth Talking Therapies and Maudsley Hospital Family Therapy and alongside a number of organisations, including The Awareness Centre, The Listening Place, and Solace Women’s Aid, with clients from diverse social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
My previous background in international relations and my extensive travels allowed me to appreciate people's cultural and individual differences and gain a perspective on culturally sensitive issues, which I embrace in my counselling practice.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
