About me

**Low Cost Offer**

With the cost of living increasing and summer approaching where you may have a holiday to pay for or childcare to sort. I understand how these costs can add up and lead you to feel like you need to put your own support on hold. I am running an offer where you can access counselling at low cost. Please get in touch.

I am a Person-Centred Counsellor with experience working with children, young people, and adults. I support clients through a wide range of issues, including trauma, neurodivergence, bereavement, loss of self, sexual and domestic abuse, anxiety, and depression.

If you are facing challenges, navigating life changes, or simply need someone to listen, I offer one-to-one support tailored to you as an individual. I provide a safe and supportive space to help you explore your experiences and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Are you feeling weighed down by anxiety? Struggling with relationships or the loss of a loved one? Finding it difficult to build self-esteem, or wanting to explore past trauma? Whatever you are going through, I offer a safe, empathic, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed environment where you can begin to work through life’s challenges.

As a Person-Centred Counsellor, I place you at the heart of the process. Sessions are guided by you and move at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you. Together, we can find a way forward and begin the next stage of your journey.

I understand how important it is to find the right counsellor - someone who feels warm, safe, and easy to talk to. I am committed to building a trusting relationship where you feel heard, supported, and able to create meaningful, positive change in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

I have experience with working with both domestic and sexual abuse, bereavement, low self-esteem, anxiety, neurodiversity and have worked with children and young people for many years. Although this is not an exhaustive list, it gives you an idea of some of the areas I work with.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
