About me

I am a qualified, British Pakistani counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I work in a person centred way, offering a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Alongside my professional training, I also bring personal insight into the effects of domestic abuse, which informs my work with warmth and understanding.

Life can feel overwhelming at times and it's not always easy to find the right support. I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

I provide individual counselling sessions tailored to your unique needs, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

My therapeutic approach aims to foster self-awareness, emotional healing, and personal transformation.

My approach is gentle, person-centred and tailored to your unique journey. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges or simply feeling stuck, I am here to walk alongside you - helping you find clarity, strength and a way forward that feels right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a CPCAB Level 4 Qualification in Therapeutic Counselling and regularly attend CPD training courses relevant to my clients' needs.

Alongside my professional training, I also bring personal insights into the effects of domestic abuse, which informs my work with warmth and understanding.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their Ethical Framework.

With experience in online counselling and community counselling settings, I have worked with diverse adult populations dealing with various different struggles.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
