About me

Hi, I’m Sharon and thank you for looking at my profile. I am a qualified Life Coach and Counsellor with over 20 years of experience and I’m here to support you in finding the solutions and best way to navigate through the emotions, stresses and difficulties that you may be experiencing right now. And the good news is that you already have all the resources you need within you, you just need a little guidance in discovering them and putting them into action.

Having someone to talk to, can be incredibly beneficial. It provides a chance to look into your feelings and share your thoughts and experiences in a secure setting, helping you understand the reasons behind them and develop a path forward. Whether you're facing challenges related to relationships, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, work-related stress, past traumas, or any source of discomfort, I encourage you to reach out and contact me for a free chat to see how we can work together.

Counselling offers a confidential space, where you can share your worries, fears, hopes and dreams. The counselling process helps you to increase your self-awareness and really understand what choices you have and start working towards the changes that will enhance your wellbeing.

Coaching helps you to identify your goals and priorities, providing clarity on what you want from your life. It can enhance your decision-making, empower you to take those steps you may have been hesitating to, it can help boost your self-esteem and confidence and it encourages self-reflection, leading to personal growth.

Each session lasts for an hour.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
