About me
Hello, I’m Seyche and I’m a qualified, integrative counsellor based in London. Seeking counselling can feel daunting. My aim is to help you feel at ease, connecting with compassion and meeting you where you are. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply want to understand yourself better, I’m here to help.
Anxiety, low mood or low self-esteem
Are you feeling stuck in self-doubt, overwhelmed by racing thoughts, or struggling to find motivation? Anxiety can bring a sense of disconnection or panic, while low mood or low self-esteem can make it difficult to find joy in daily life. Whether these feelings are long-standing or triggered by recent experiences, I work with you to foster awareness and emotional resilience, offering practical tools to help you move forward.
Fertility and parenthood
The journey to parenthood isn’t always straightforward. Fertility challenges can bring a rollercoaster of emotions - hope, disappointment, grief, and uncertainty. I understand this deeply, having been through it myself. The emotional and physical toll can affect your relationships, sense of self, and overall well-being. If you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or struggling to make sense of it all, you don’t have to go through it alone.
About my approach
My objective is to provide a space where you can feel truly heard, respected and understood. I believe in the power of genuine, heartfelt connection and I bring warmth and acceptance to our sessions in order to create a safe and supportive environment.
While our work is collaborative my priority is to respect your personal agency, supporting and empowering you to take the lead in your therapeutic journey. This allows you to develop greater self-awareness, reflection and clarity. Alongside this is a focus on building resilience and emotional adaptability, giving you the practical tools needed to navigate life’s challenges.
My counselling style is relational, meaning the therapeutic relationship itself is a key part of our work. Working as an integrative counsellor simply means that I combine and adapt different types of therapies in whatever way best suits you. The three therapies I draw from are psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and a person-centred approach.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have always felt drawn to learning more about how us humans interact, communicate and connect with each other. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over 20 years working in communications, with a key focus in social justice. Through understanding and connecting with people, I was able to build meaningful relationships as well as communicating complex issues in ways that resonated. I gained invaluable insight into many issues such as mental health discrimination, violence against women and girls, racism and inequality. While I loved my role, I realised I wanted to work more directly with people and this desire led me to train as a counsellor.
Building on my communications experience, I chose to study for a diploma in integrative counselling with a focus on diversity and intersectionality. This shaped my understanding of how our unique identities - whether related to race, gender, sexuality or other characteristics - impact our experiences and relationships.
Issues I can help with
I have experience supporting clients with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low mood, workplace stress, bereavement, relationship difficulties, childhood trauma, fertility challenges and chronic illness. I bring lived experience to my work with clients facing the emotional and physical complexities of fertility struggles.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Practice description
I offer individual counselling sessions face-to-face or online from a private, confidential office space, with online sessions conducted via Zoom. Sessions are held weekly and last for 50 minutes, providing a secure and supportive environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions.
Whether you're looking for short-term support to navigate specific challenges or a deeper, longer-term therapeutic journey, I offer a flexible and tailored approach.
First session details
I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help us determine whether we are a good fit. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get a sense of how I work.
In our first full session, we will explore what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will also carry out a brief assessment to help us focus our sessions in a way that best supports you. This is a space for you to share at your own pace, and there is no pressure to go into anything before you feel ready.
