About me

Are you struggling with anxiety, stress or low mood? Feeling overwhelmed but keeping it quiet? Feeling stuck, lost or just not like yourself? These are some of the problems that I support people with. You don’t have to do it alone, and therapy is a great place to start. The hurt, suffering and trauma that life can hurl at us can feel like a painful and isolating place. It can all feel quite scary at times. That’s why I provide a confidential and welcoming space for you to talk about the issues you’re facing. Whether it’s work stress, your relationships, parenthood, life transitions or finding a whole-life balance, therapy gives you space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with who you really are.

I use Transactional Analysis (TA) as a core part of my work – a powerful, practical approach to understanding patterns in how we think, feel and relate to others.

TA helps us untangle:

  • Why we feel stuck in certain behaviours
  • Where our inner critic comes from
  • How early life experiences shape us
  • And, importantly, how we can create change

But no two people are the same, so I tailor your therapy to you. I draw on other approaches too, including relational, humanistic and creative techniques, depending on what feels right for you. Some people want a space to talk. Others want tools. Many want both.

What I can help with:

  • Stress and burnout
  • Anxiety & overthinking
  • Low mood & self-esteem
  • People-pleasing & boundaries
  • Creative blocks & imposter syndrome
  • Relationship patterns & communication
  • Work stress, perfectionism & self-criticism
  • Feeling lost, stuck or disconnected

Training, qualifications & experience

Level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Transactional Analysis.

BACP Registered Member

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
