About me
I believe emotional healing is about more than simply managing symptoms. It is about understanding what has happened to you, reconnecting with yourself and beginning to feel safe in your own mind and body again.
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and registered member of the BACP. I work in a warm, honest and intuitive way, offering a space where you can be completely yourself without fear of judgement. I support people experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, low self-worth, emotional overwhelm and times when you feel disconnected from who you are.
My approach is not one-size-fits-all. Alongside talking therapy, I may help you understand patterns, emotional triggers and the way difficult experiences can affect your nervous system and your relationships. We work at your pace, with the aim of helping you feel more grounded, empowered and able to trust yourself.
As part of As One Counselling and Spiritual Wellness, I also offer mediumship, psychic readings and energy healing. For those who are open to a more spiritual approach, this can provide another way of exploring meaning, connection and personal growth. Counselling and spiritual services can remain completely separate, or the spiritual side can be gently included where appropriate and specifically wanted by you.
I offer counselling for individuals and couples, both face-to-face in Buxton, Norfolk, and online. I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I completed my professional training with Matrix College of Counselling and Psychotherapy, in association with Middlesex University. My training is integrative, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt the way I work to each person.
I have also completed specialist training in relationship and couples counselling and have experience supporting both individuals and couples with communication difficulties, loss of trust, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection and changes in intimacy.
My additional professional development includes reflective practice training in London, alongside extensive training and personal development in somatic healing. This informs the way I help clients understand how difficult experiences can affect the body and nervous system, as well as thoughts and emotions. Where appropriate, I may use gentle grounding, breathing and body-awareness techniques to support regulation and reconnection.
My experience includes working with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, low self-worth, attachment difficulties, emotional overwhelm and challenging life experiences.
I continue to develop my practice through ongoing professional training, clinical supervision and reflective practice.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer a warm, relaxed and down-to-earth space where you can come exactly as you are. My approach considers the whole person, including thoughts, emotions, relationships, the body and nervous system.
Spirituality can also be acknowledged for clients who feel it is important to them, but it is never assumed or imposed.
I offer face-to-face sessions in Buxton, Norfolk, as well as online counselling for individuals and couples. My rescue dog, Silver, lives at the property and has the freedom to come in and out of the room, so clients will need to feel comfortable with dogs.
