About me
Life can feel overwhelmingly heavy at times. Anxiety, self-doubt, persistent low mood, or that constant sense of dread can make even the simplest days feel like a struggle. Perhaps you’re stuck in unhelpful patterns, battling limiting beliefs, or exhausted by trying to hold everything together. I understand how isolating and draining this can be, but I also know that having a safe, non-judgemental space to talk things through can be genuinely transformative.
Therapy gives you the chance to explore your experiences just as you are. It can help you make sense of what’s happening, understand yourself more deeply, and feel more in control of your choices, actions, and life. When you invest in yourself, you begin to move from simply coping to genuinely living with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
I’m a pluralistic psychotherapist working with adults, children and young people, supporting a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, stress and maladaptive coping strategies. I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach. Instead, I work collaboratively and holistically, drawing from different therapeutic modalities to meet your individual needs. You are the expert on your own life and we will simply work together to find what helps you the most.
My style is warm, engaging, and down-to-earth. I offer a space where you can be completely yourself, whether that means talking, crying, venting, swearing, or sitting quietly while we work things through together. I’m fully present in our sessions. I listen actively, offer reflections and perspectives, and sometimes gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. But we will go at your pace, nothing is rushed, forced, or pushed before you're ready.
Together, we can explore both present day challenges and deeper experiences from your past that continue to affect how you feel. My aim is to help you understand yourself more clearly, develop healthier ways of coping, and begin creating the life you want, not just the one you’ve been surviving.
I also offer hypnotherapy where appropriate, which can be an effective way of working with the unconscious mind to shift unhelpful beliefs, reduce anxiety, interrupt self-sabotaging behaviours, and support long-lasting change.
I am fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS and safeguarding certificate, and alongside my private practice I also work as a school based counsellor with London Young Counselling.
It’s a privilege to support people through difficult times, help them feel more grounded, and reconnect them with the life they deserve.
If you’d like to see whether we’re the right fit, I offer a free 20 minute initial chat, this is a relaxed, no pressure, chance to get to know each other and ask any questions you may have.
I offer in-person sessions in Bristol (BS6) and secure online sessions across the UK.
Whenever you’re ready, I’m here and would love to hear from you.
