About me

Hello and a warm welcome to you. I offer counselling and psychotherapy to adults and adolescents, age 14 and upwards. I am now offering most sessions via video or audio call, with limited face to face sessions available in Eastbourne. I am trained in Transactional Analysis, a therapeutic approach that is very much about working collaboratively.  Life is challenging in different ways and at different times and sometimes we need space and a committed and experienced 'other' to help us unravel what can feel messy, complicated, tragic, overwhelming ...and much more. So my aim is to listen deeply without judgement to what you have to say.  Using what happens in the 'here and now' I can help you explore your patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, to gain insight and a deeper understanding of yourself. I offer a free 30 minute telephone or Zoom conversation with no obligation to book a session, but to give you an idea of who I am and if you think I am the right counsellor for you. Also, for me to assess your needs and let you know if I think I can help. So, give me a call, text or email and we can take it from there. Thank you for visiting my profile.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I have a particular interest, training and experience in working with young people (especially teenagers) and in helping them manage anxiety, depression, exam stress and complex family dynamics. I can work with the young person individually or with a parent and teenager together.
