About me

Hello, I am Sara and I offer counselling and psychotherapy to adults and young people (age 12 upwards). I am trained in Transactional Analysis, a therapeutic approach which is very much about working collaboratively and towards an agreed goal, which of course can and often does change along the way. Life is challenging in different ways and at different times for us all and sometimes we need space and a committed and experienced 'other' to help us unravel what can feel messy, complicated, tragic, overwhelming ...and much more. So my aim is to listen deeply without judgement to what you have to say and to help you find what you may want to change. Using what happens in the 'here and now' we can explore your patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, to gain insight and a deeper understanding of yourself. I offer a free 20/30 minute telephone conversation with no obligation to book a session, but to give you an idea of who I am and how I work and if you think I am the right counsellor for you. Also, for me to assess your needs and let you know if I think I can help. So, give me a call, text or email and we can take it from there. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
