About me
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and during these times it is important to invest in you!
Are you experiencing feelings of being constantly on edge, worried, or unable to switch off your thoughts? Perhaps you find yourself overthinking situations, expecting the worst, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday tasks? Physical symptoms may include a racing heart, restlessness, difficulty sleeping, muscle tension, or feeling sick with worry. Anxiety like this can affect work, relationships, confidence, and the ability to enjoy life.
Perhaps you feel emotionally drained, hopeless, numb, or disconnected from yourself and others? Activities you once enjoyed may no longer bring pleasure, and even simple tasks can feel exhausting. Depression can affect sleep, appetite, motivation, concentration, and self-worth. Some people struggle to see a positive future or feel stuck in a cycle they cannot break.
People with low self-esteem often experience persistent self-doubt and a harsh inner critic. If this describes you, you may find it difficult to recognise your strengths, accept compliments, or believe you are good enough. Fear of failure, people-pleasing, comparing yourself to others, and difficulty setting boundaries are common experiences.Low self-esteem can impact relationships, career choices, confidence, and overall emotional wellbeing.
How can counselling help?
If any of these experiences feel familiar, I can help. Counselling can provide a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we can work to understand the underlying causes of your difficulties, develop healthier coping strategies, build self-confidence, and help you move towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.
This supportive process is tailored to your individual needs, helping you gain greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.

With over five years’ counselling experience, I have worked with a local charity in Bracknell, delivering counselling and therapeutic support within the community to both young people and adults, as well as within local schools. My work has included one-to-one counselling and facilitated group work. In addition, I have been providing private online counselling to adults for the past year.
I also work 3 days a week in a local school as an intervention teacher. In this role, I am responsible for providing targeted academic and pastoral support to students who may be underachieving, at risk of falling behind, or experiencing barriers to learning, including SEMH. The role focuses on helping pupils make progress, build resilience and confidence and re-engage with education.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
