About me

I offer counselling that is warm, supportive, and genuinely collaborative. My aim is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and able to explore whatever you’re carrying at a pace that feels right for you. We work together to make sense of your experiences - whether you’re facing something challenging right now or trying to untangle the impact of the past - so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self‑trust.

My practice is grounded in trauma‑informed principles, which means I pay close attention to safety, choice, empowerment, and the pace that feels manageable for you. I recognise how past experiences can shape the present, and I work with care and sensitivity to ensure you feel in control of your own process. You will never be pushed to share more than you want to; instead, we build understanding together in a way that feels steady and respectful.

I have extensive experience supporting adult survivors of abuse, as well as people navigating a wide range of life challenges, including bereavement, anticipatory grief, and experiences of living loss. My own lived experiences also inform the way I work, offering a grounded, human understanding of what it means to rebuild, grow, and find your footing again after significant personal difficulties.

As an integrative therapist, I tailor our sessions to your individual needs, drawing from different therapeutic perspectives to support what feels most meaningful and helpful for you. My approach centres on helping you reconnect with your own strengths, choices, and inner resources. Therapy with me is a partnership - your voice leads the way, and together we shape the direction of our work.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I am also a clinical supervisor, offering a warm, reflective space for counsellors and trainees. Supervision with me is collaborative and supportive - we explore client work together, reflect on your development as a practitioner, and ensure you feel resourced, grounded, and ethically held in your work.

Whether you’re seeking therapy or supervision, my intention is to offer a relationship built on trust, respect, and shared exploration - somewhere you can feel safe enough to be yourself and supported enough to grow in the ways that matter to you.
