About me
Hello and welcome — I’m so glad you’ve found your way here, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me and the online counselling service I offer.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it can also be the beginning of something really positive. You don’t have to face things on your own. I offer a warm, caring, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, explore what’s going on for you, and begin to make sense of your thoughts and feelings. Together, we can work towards greater understanding, clarity, and confidence in your life.
Why Consider Counselling
Life can sometimes feel heavy or confusing, can’t it? We all have times when our emotions get the better of us — whether it’s sadness, grief, loneliness, anxiety, or the stress of difficult relationships with partners, family, or friends.
When these feelings start to creep into everyday life, we might begin to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of who we are anymore. Confidence can take a dip, and it can feel as though we’ve lost control.
Counselling offers a safe and gentle way to unpack all of this. It’s a space just for you — to be heard, understood, and supported — so you can start to reconnect with yourself and move towards a calmer, more fulfilling life.
How Counselling Can Help
Counselling is all about getting to know yourself better. As we talk things through, you’ll start to gain insight into what’s really going on beneath the surface — and that understanding can be incredibly freeing. It can help you see things more clearly, make positive changes, and feel more in charge of your life.
I work in a person-centred way, which means I truly believe you already have the tools and strengths you need inside you. My role is to help you find them, trust them, and learn how to use them.
I’m passionate about empowering my clients to grow in self-awareness and confidence — to move forward feeling lighter, stronger, and more at peace with themselves.
The Counselling Relationship
Feeling comfortable with your counsellor is so important. That’s why I offer a free 30-minute introductory session, so we can chat about what’s bringing you to counselling and see if we both feel it’s a good fit.
Building trust and connection is at the heart of therapy. I want you to feel safe, supported, and truly listened to — in a space that’s free from judgement and full of understanding.
Why Choose Online Therapy
Online therapy can be a wonderful option if getting to face-to-face sessions feels tricky. Maybe you have a disability, experience anxiety about travelling or meeting in person, or simply prefer the comfort and privacy of your own space. Online counselling allows you to connect at a time that suits you, wherever you feel most at ease, using a platform you’re familiar with.
I’m a Professional Member of ACTO (the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online), having completed specialist training in both online and telephone counselling. I’m also proud to be a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Ongoing learning and professional growth are really important to me — it helps me to offer you the best support possible.
I currently offer counselling via video and telephone, and my aim is to make the process smooth, supportive, and genuinely helpful for you.
I warmly welcome people from all walks of life — all ages, cultures, backgrounds, and identities. Whatever you’re going through, I’m here to listen, support you, and help you find your own way forward toward personal growth and fulfilment.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
