About me

As both a counsellor and yoga therapist, I understand that emotional experiences are often held in the body as well as the mind. Where appropriate and always led by your preferences, we may explore mindfulness, breath, movement or awareness of bodily experience alongside talking therapy to support your wellbeing as a whole - in mind, body and spirit.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and curiosity. My role isn't to tell you what to do, but to help you better understand yourself, develop greater self-awareness, and discover the resources you already have within you.

I offer a safe, supportive space for you to recover, heal, and grow. I weave together threads from a variety of therapeutic approaches to work uniquely with every individual. With a person-centred approach, the sessions are led by you as the client and supported by me.

If you're looking for an integrated and personalised approach to healing, then you're in the right place. Expect to feel nurtured, gently challenged, and held wherever you are on your well-being journey. From crisis through to thriving, I meet you where you are and walk the path towards healing with you.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, loss, self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm. I am currently working primarily online, although there are opportunities to work in person together as well, particularly through walk & talk therapy and nature immersion - as nature provides such a supportive setting for healing.

Alongside offering counselling and yoga therapy, I host public, private, and corporate wellbeing retreats and events in the beautiful setting of Gower Peninsula, in South Wales.

Please feel welcome to get in touch if you think that we could be the right fit, or if you have any enquiries at all.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
