About me

Feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start? CBT counsellor with elements of ACT and DBT . My large tool box enables me to work pluralistically to tailor match your needs.

I have 10 years experience working with Neurodiversity (ASD, ADHD etc)

My aim is to offer a safe environment to enable healing, growth and then strengthen and arm you so not only will you surpass your challenges, but have the tools necessary to combat future challenges too. I don’t just want to help; I want to make you stronger. I will help you overcome your depression, anxiety or any other demons you may be facing!

Throughout life’s journey I have developed a spiritual and open-minded view on the world and its inhabitants, there’s a side to every coin. Life is precious in all its forms. I found my purpose in life by helping others, persistently seeking new ways in trying to support others in having a fulfilling life.

  2. FdA in counselling Children and young people
  3. Trained in trauma treatment.
  4. Over 10 years experience working with neurodiversity.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Sessions are online only and booked on my website where either I can book you in and send an invoice or you can choose and prebook available appointments yourself, based on my online calendar.
