About me
We all need someone to talk to from time to time, but sometimes we need a safe space to explore the issues and thoughts that have become too much for us. I can provide that for you, I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who will listen and empower you to understand the problems that are making your life difficult. I offer a therapeutic relationship which is based on trust, empathy, and acceptance.
By providing a safe and confidential space we will work together to explore what keeps your problems going and find real solutions that you can implement in your day-to-day life.
I am experienced in working with Young People and Adults and I can reflect and integrate different ways of working dependent on your needs.
Sessions can take place face to face , via Zoom, telephone or walk & talk.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am fully qualified with a SCOTACS Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Counselling and Groupwork from The Centre of Therapy and Counselling Studies in Glasgow.
I currently work with adults , children and young people who are affected by childhood trauma. I also volunteer with Chris’s House which is a crisis centre who support individuals who are experiencing suicidal thoughts or have been affected by suicide.

Registered member of the BACP: MBACP
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
