About me
Hi, I am Rebecca,
I am a Pluralistic Counsellor & Hypnotherapist based in South Wales.
I work in the Cardiff area, offering face to face and online counselling, for individuals and Couples, in a safe and calm environment.
I believe that everyone deserves a calm and supportive environment where they can talk freely and feel genuinely heard. For many people, life can at times feel overwhelming, uncertain, or stuck, I offer a safe place to pause, reflect, and explore what’s happening.
Clients may come to counselling for a variety of reasons it can be anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, betrayal. You may be feeling loneliness, or simply a sense that something isn’t right. Whatever brings you here, our work together will focus on what feels most important to you, having the space to talk things through can help. It can be those life changes that we don't see coming that are a struggle.
My counselling approach is rooted in person-centred therapy values. I listen without judgement, respect your pace, and place your needs at the centre of the process. I take a pluralistic approach, meaning that where helpful, I can draw on a range of methods, including CBT techniques, and Psychodynamic.
Counselling can be the space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported without pressure.
Sometimes we can feel like we have different sides of ourselves pulling in different directions a part that wants to move forward, but another part that’s scared, or really self-critical. In our work together, we can explore these different parts of you with curiosity and compassion. This can help bring more understanding and balance within yourself.
