About me

Hello, I’m Rebecca,

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious and unsure what direction to take? Anxiety or Stress taking over your thoughts? I am here to help you make sense of everything going on, see different perspectives and overcome the patterns that are holding you back.

Therapy with me is a space where you can be completely yourself - messy thoughts, overwhelming feelings and all. I’m a realistic, down-to-earth therapist. We might laugh. We might cry. And yes, at times, I will gently challenge you whilst walking beside you on your journey. Growth doesn’t happen by staying comfortable, but it also doesn’t happen without feeling safe and understood.

I believe in being human first. I won’t sit silently and nod - I will show up with you, support you and help you build insight, resilience and practical tools you can actually use in your everyday life. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right, while still moving you forward toward the life you want.

Based in Crewe, Cheshire, I offer Counselling, Hypnotherapy, and EMDR therapy. I support adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck due to past experiences.

If you’re struggling, you don’t have to face it alone. Therapy offers a safe, confidential space to be heard, understood, and supported without judgement - and I’m here to help you take that next step.

How I Work
I am a pluralistically trained counsellor, which means I tailor therapy to you rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My integrative work draws from CBT, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centred approaches, allowing therapy to be flexible, responsive, and suited to your individual needs and goals.

Alongside counselling, I also offer Hypnotherapy and EMDR, which can be particularly helpful if talking alone feels difficult, or if you are working through trauma, emotional blocks, or deeply rooted patterns.

What I Can Help With
I work with clients experiencing:

Anxiety and overwhelm
Low mood and low self-esteem
Trauma and past distressing experiences
Emotional blocks and feeling “stuck”
Difficulties linked to past or current life events

Sessions are available face to face in Crewe or online video call, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

Free Initial Consultation
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting. To help with this, I offer a free, no-obligation 20-minute initial consultation by phone or online video call. This gives you the opportunity to see if I’m the right fit for you and to ask any questions before committing to sessions.

You can book by text, email or via my website and I always aim to respond.

A Bit About Me

Before training as a therapist, I spent many years working in the construction industry in finance. That experience gave me valuable insight into the pressures of working life and the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. My own journey eventually led me toward a more healing-focused path, and today I feel truly privileged to support others through theirs.

I am known for being grounded, calm and non-judgemental, with a warm and compassionate approach. I understand how overwhelming life can feel during difficult times. I work gently and collaboratively to help you make sense of your experiences, process what you’ve been through, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Your past does not define you, and with the right support, change is possible.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m only a call, text, or email away.

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
