About me
Hi, I am Becky, and I work in an integrative way, offering warm relational and person centred therapy to help you break stuck patterns, heal past experiences and build secure relationships.
I specialise in Attachment and Trauma, offering online counselling to adults, young people and children across the UK.
Do you find yourself feeling anxious, pulling away in relationships, have low self-confidence or constantly worrying that people will leave?
Are you experiencing feelings of emotional exhaustion, loneliness, repeating old patterns, feeling disconnected or overwhelmed, or feeling "too much" / "not enough"?
If that sounds familiar, attachment-based therapy goes deeper than just managing symptoms it helps you feel truly secure in your relationships. Together, we'll look at how your earliest relationships shape how you handle anxiety, betrayal, trust, intimacy, and conflict today.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I worked for many years as an NHS Mental Health Nurse with prenatal and postnatal women who were experiencing many issues, including anxiety and depression or had experienced a traumatic birth.
I have also completed specialist training in trauma. This works hand-in-hand with my relational focus, helping us safely look at what you’ve been through and how your body adapted to protect you.
Bringing these approaches together allows us to gently work through deep-seated pain, calm an overwhelmed nervous system, and rebuild how you feel and relate to others."
I am passionate about providing therapy to help provide insight, process emotions and assist with developing coping strategies. I aim to provide a safe, calm, compassionate, non-judgmental space for you to have time for yourself.
