About me
You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, painful memories, emotions, repeated unhelpful behaviours or unhelpful patterns in your relationships due to the fear of abandonment being particularly painful for you. Or perhaps, you struggle with your relationship with food and your body, perfectionism, have gone through the pain of losing a baby (at any stage of pregnancy or at birth) or are struggling with the complex emotions and fears of being pregnancy after experiencing a loss.
Whatever your concerns, therapy can be a vital part of your journey to healing. Reaching out may be difficult but I’m here to offer a safe, supportive space, however that may look for you. My hope in our work is to spend time understanding your story and struggles, as well as your resilience and goals, and work alongside you to reclaim your life in a way that is meaningful to you.
Areas of expertise
Through my NHS and private practice work, I support adults experiencing difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, high self-criticism, perfectionism, perinatal loss, OCD, body image concerns, and eating difficulties.

Therapeutic approach
Therapy with me offers a space to slow things down and make sense of your experiences. Together, we can work towards reducing distress, processing past experiences where helpful, and developing a more compassionate and grounded relationship with yourself.
I take a collaborative and goal focused approach. My job is to integrate elements of therapeutic models, particularly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), to ensure the therapy you receive is adapted to you, your needs and goals.
A consultation
One of the most important aspects of therapy is finding the right therapist for you. This is why I offer a free 20-minute online consultation to give us the chance to meet, for you to share your current concerns, ask me questions and learn more about how therapy together would work. If we decide to more forward, you will receive my service agreement and we can schedule your first session.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). My registration number is PYL047248. I also have a Distinction level Masters from UCL in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition, and a postgraduate diploma in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I have extensive experience working within NHS services, including Talking Therapies working with those struggling with low mood and anxiety, adult eating disorder services, perinatal trauma and loss. I currently work in an adult community mental health team, where I work with adults struggling with a range of mental health difficulties including complex trauma, severe anxiety, depression, OCD and personality disorders, using various therapy models. This has shaped my flexible, client-led approach, adapting therapy to each person’s needs and circumstances.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
