About me
Hello, my name is Raisa and my practice is called The Fern Psychology. The fern symbolizes endurance and resourcefulness. Ferns are plants that grow in highly unusual places and withstand the toughest climates. This symbol guides me in my practice. I view my role as helping you make sense of your difficulties in order to experience growth
I work integratively in therapy, which means I draw from different approaches depending on my client's needs. A humanistic, relational, and existential approach to therapy is my style. Complex trauma, work-life balance, and migrant families & experiences (including first & second-generation) are some of my areas of interest and specialization.
I assist clients who are facing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief/loss, burnouts & stress or want to make sense of traumatic experiences, transitions in their lives, adjustment to circumstances and relational challenges. If you would like to hear more then you are welcome to book a consultation with me.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
