About me

I hold a calm, supportive space for you to slow down, breathe, and make sense of what’s happening in your life.

Whether you’re going through a difficult time or simply want to understand yourself more deeply, counselling sessions provide an opportunity to pause, reflect on how you got to where you are, and explore where you’d like to go next.

I work in a holistic way, considering all aspects of who you are. In sessions, we can uncover connections between past and present, identify the patterns, feelings, and beliefs that shape your life today, and explore how your body and nervous system respond to stress, safety, and relational experiences.

I work with individuals both in-person and online. People come to me with experiences of anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, bereavement, self-esteem or confidence difficulties, social anxiety, relationship or family challenges, and student-related pressures. Many of my clients identify as neurodivergent, including those with ADHD, autism, and invisible differences.

Animal & Pet loss

I often support those who are grieving the loss of a beloved animal, or anticipating that loss. This kind of grief is often minimised or misunderstood by others. I understand the importance of having a compassionate space where your irreplaceable bond and feelings can be fully acknowledged and honoured, and where you can explore and process your grief at your own pace.

Training, qualifications & experience

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on psychodynamic, humanistic, behavioural, and existential approaches. I also integrate attachment and nervous system-informed perspectives to work collaboratively with you in a way that best supports your process.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
