About me
Hello. I am Rachel and I love to help people heal and reach their full potential. I have worked extensively in education with children and young adults with a range of complexities such ASD, ADHD and other special educational needs, along with attachment difficulties, psychological trauma and addictions..
I have worked with adults from a range a backgrounds and maintain a cultural humility approach where I claim not to know every thing about your experience but am keen to understand.
I work psychodynamically, using trauma informed methods, attachment theory, a client intuitive approach along with positive psychology methods. I believe the art materials are incredible helpful to provide a narrative of our internal states and unconscious feelings. I implement the use archetypes, games, storytelling, clay, sand tray, the elduende method and bilateral drawing.
I inform my clients of nervous system regulation and how to implement that into their daily lives alongside processing the underlying causes of their distress.
I provide a tailored service to your needs and work alongside my clients using a co - productive approach.
You don’t need any art skills to work with me, I will help you navigate the materials and find what works best for you.
