About me
I am an integrative psychotherapist. I work with children, adolescents and adults. I offer individual sessions, parent/child sessions and small group sessions. I also run workshops.
I like to work collaboratively with my clients to help them feel safe and supported throughout their therapy experience. I work creatively and believe that a relational experience really allows my clients to get a deeper understanding of themselves and what they are working through.
I offer talking and creative therapy. Both can be combined if that feels appropriate. All of my sessions are created on an individual basis and my priority is to meet the needs of my clients.
As a psychotherapist, I tend to look at and work with a person's whole life. This may well include exploring your childhood and early life experiences. As well as current and present day events that may be impacting your well being.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified child and adolescent psychotherapist. As well as an adult therapist. I am a trauma informed practitioner.
My background includes over fifteen years working in the mental health field. This includes: supporting adults living with psychiatric conditions, working within school safeguarding teams, and running an inclusion service for young people.
I currently work full time as a psychotherapist offering sessions to my client base. I specialise working with clients who are presenting with trauma symptoms including PTSD and C-PTSD. I also work with children, adolescents and young people who have been in the care system or have been adopted.
As well as this I work with clients who have experienced loss, grief, low mood, anxiety, depression, adversity, from eating disorders/disordered eating, and family separation.
I also support clients of all ages who are from neurodiverse backgrounds.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
