About me

I am a person-centred counsellor and I currently offer sessions online, with limited in-person sessions available. I have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, childhood bereavement and several years experience of supporting individuals and families navigating life with neurodiversity.

I offer a safe, confidential space for you to feel heard. I believe that I can offer my clients compassion, empathy and to hold space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. It is a journey and I will be on hand to support you in your exploration, discovery and finding a way to work through things that are feeling hard. I will hold regular review sessions for both client and counsellor to explore the journey and any learnings.

I offer a free 15 min telephone session prior to the first session so we can briefly discuss why you are seeking help and a brief introduction to myself and how I work.

I offer open-ended sessions but I am also happy to work with blocks of 12/15 sessions, as it can feel overwhelming to not initially see the end. This is also negotiable and why I hold the review sessions. It is your opportunity to have time for reflection, questioning of self and to discuss anything on your mind. As I say to all of my clients, 'it is your hour for you'.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Counselling Theory and Therapeutic Practice.

I have over 100 hours experience with clients from the LGBTQIA+ community, I have worked with young parents and parents with neurodiverse children. I have also sat with clients moving through higher education and the demands that occurs.

Prior to completing my qualification I have a background in supporting adults with disabilities, navigating, home, work and social lives.
